Hoover Alumni Organization Members,

The Hoover Alumni Organization Board Members want to extend our immense “Thank yous” to you for your dedicated support of the Hoover Foundation and Hoover Alumni Organization.

During the past couple of years our Hoover Alumni Organization has supported numerous Hoover High School teams, groups, programs, departments and staff.Some of those receiving funding from the Hoover Alumni Organization, supported by your dues and donations have been Hoover’s Music department, the boy’s soccer team, wrestling team, girl’s flag football team, the baseball team, the cheer squad, the Art department, the ROTC’s archery team, The Culinary Arts Program, and the newly re-named The Cardinal Closet to: The Red Thread Community Thrift Store, to name a few.

As with everyone, cost has increased for many everyday items, and this certainly is true for specific items needed by Hoover’s deserving groups that have been and will need to be financially assisted by our Hoover Alumni Organization.
In order to continue to offer funding to Hoover’s students and staff, The Hoover Alumni Organization will need to implement some changes for 2026. 

We apologize if this creates any inconvenience for our membership.  It’s simply a fact that costs have created this need.

Effective July 1, 2026, the Annual membership dues will increase to $40.00 per year.  This will apply to all annual members when their annual membership due date comes about, from July 1, 2026 onward. 

New Life Membership will increase to $200.00.

We will be working on the process to send our Hoover Alumni Newsletter to our membership via email or digitally through our Hoover Alumni Organization website. For those who have no computer access, a mailed Newsletter will continue to arrive.
These changes are meant to allow us to continue serving Hoover’s students and provide them with support to enrich their educational, social, and emotional education.
